About me

Hello Everyone!

I am Claudia Chang, student of Modern Languages at the University of Los Andes and here we have "A Step Away From Gilwell".

This blog is dedicated for all Scouts and Scouters who want to learn about Scouting from its original language: English. This way, we can even learn new things while practising our English and experimenting this movement "from a different window".

Learning the English terminology and context will strength our bond to Scouting and it will get us closer to what some see as their goal in scouting: Gilwell Park.

I hope this blog will be very helpful for all of you and that we can enjoy learning as we did when being scouts 😁
